Dr. Andrew Campbell, Plastic Surgeon

As a child, Dr. Campbell was an artist, drawing detailed images most days of his youth. He told his mother that he thought he wanted to be an artist. His mother replied that he should be a doctor and do art as a hobby, “they don’t call them starving artists for nothing”.

His entire family was in the medical industry so he complied but knew he wanted to use his hands and artistic gift in his specialty.

Andrew received several awards for his art in high school. He played varsity football and hockey and was a valedictorian as well.

He graduated with honors from Indiana University with a double major in Biology and Chemistry. He was selected in the honor society Phi Beta Kappa as a junior. Andrew continued to draw murals and banners as well as popular t-shirts for the Little 500. In 1990, he married his wife, Heidi, who is a registered nurse.

Dr. Campbell matched in his number one residency program at the University of Cincinnati. There he learned all aspects of head and neck/facial plastic surgery and was fortunate to train with some of the best facial plastic surgeons, dermatologic surgeons, and oculoplastic surgeons in the country.

With two children and one on the way, Dr. Campbell and his family decided to start his practice in Sheboygan, WI, voted the “Best Place to Raise a Family” by Reader’s Digest. He was always determined to become a fully aesthetic facial plastic surgeon and in 2003 they purchased their first laser!

Dr. Campbell designed and built a two OR accredited surgical center in a new beautiful building that now had separate space for their medical spa that they called Quintessa. Around the same time, Dr. Campbell found out that his wife was unexpectedly pregnant with their fourth child, who they ultimately named Quintessa.

They quickly upgraded their equipment and started providing treatments with Sciton lasers. The aesthetic side of the business was growing and they determined they needed a stronger presence in the Milwaukee market.

Dr. Campbell designed and built their beautiful Mequon location which now was able to provide all aspects of aesthetic medicine in a comfortable environment much closer to Milwaukee. He has a team of specialists there that provide injectables, laser skin rejuvenation, non-surgical body sculpting, laser hair removal, and medical-grade skin care. He limited his practice to aesthetic procedures for the aging face.

Business continued to grow and Dr. Campbell decided to open another location on the west side of Milwaukee in Delafield. As a specialist in facial plastic surgery, his patients who wanted body procedures were having to go elsewhere. Dr. Campbell eventually recruited a partner who specialized in body procedures to join him.

With three locations and two surgeons, Dr. Campbell developed an administrative team with a call center to better serve his patients. He also decided to open another location in the Madison area.

It has an accredited 2 OR surgical center, a wellness center, another Quintessa as well as a research center. Quintessa also recruited another surgeon to join us in Mequon/Sheboygan and Middleton.

Dr. Campbell and Quintessa have plans of continuing to expand, hopefully into Florida, helping passionate plastic surgeons have incredible careers. We believe that our patients deserve to feel confident and beautiful. Quinessa wants to help as many patients as possible live their best lives.
